Our mission is simple but ambitious: make Dash0 the best observability experience in the world. To get there, we’re looking for a Senior Technical Writer to own and scale our technical content strategy, making complex concepts clear, accessible, and engaging for developers worldwide.

Your role at Dash0

As our first Senior Technical Writer, you will play a crucial role in shaping Dash0's voice and communicating our value to a broad technical audience. You will be responsible for creating compelling and technically accurate content that educates, informs, and inspires our users and the wider community.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a wide range of contentformats like technical guides, tutorials, use cases, webinars, talks, blog posts, white papers.

• Collaborate closely with the marketing & product team to identify relevant topics and craft authentic, value-driven content.

• Stay up-to-date on trends and innovations across cloud infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, OpenTelemetry, metrics, tracing, logging, APM, security, and automation.

• Break down complex technical concepts into clear, accurate, and engaging content for various audiences (from beginners to experts).

• Ensure SEO optimization, consistency, and technical accuracy across all content.

• Support the development and management of documentation hubs, knowledge bases, or developer portals.

What you bring

You're a skilled and enthusiastic technical writer with a deep understanding of complex technical concepts and an ability to translate them into accessible content.

• 3+ years of experience in technical writing or content creation for a B2B SaaS company, preferably in the cloud-native, observability, or developer tools space.

• A strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to explain complex technical topics clearly and engagingly.

• Proficiency in understanding and writing about cloud infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, OpenTelemetry, metrics, tracing, logging, APM, security, and automation.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Experience with SEO best practices and content optimization.

• Familiarity with documentation tools and content management systems.
