Our mission is simple but ambitious: make Dash0 the best observability experience in the world. To get there, we’re looking for a Event Marketing Manager to launch and scale our event presence across Europe.
Your role at Dash0
As Event Marketing Manager, you’ll be executing Dash0’s events strategy end-to-end—from planning to flawless delivery to measurable pipeline impact. You’ll partner closely with our Sales team to raise Dash0’s visibility for developers and enterprises.
You’ll own the full spectrum of event formats, including:
Meetups & community events (CNCF/OpenTelemetry meetups, DevOpsDays)
Conferences & trade shows (e.g., KubeCon, WeAreDevelopers)
Our own events (webinars & hands-on workshops)
What you’ll do
Event strategy & calendar: Identify, tier, and prioritize EU events by audience, reach, cost, and pipeline potential.
End-to-end execution: Manage sponsorships, booths, logistics, vendors, branding, shipping, swag—on time and on budget.
Content & programming: Coordinate compelling talks, demos, and workshops with SEs/PMs.
Lead collection: Design capture flows (badge scans, QR codes, forms), ensure clean CRM handoff, and enable fast Sales & Marketing follow-up.
Campaign orchestration: Drive pre-event promotion (outbound, social, email), on-site engagement (demos, meetings), and post-event nurture campaigns, write Event enablement for Sales follow up.
Budget & negotiation: Own budgets, track ROI, manage vendors, and negotiate sponsorships effectively.
Brand & community: Support Dash0’s presence in the OpenTelemetry community (meetups, ambassadors) and ensure consistent brand execution.
Compliance: Ensure all activities meet GDPR, legal, and security requirements.
What you bring
Minimum of 2–3+ years in event marketing / planning
Experience in coordinating multiple events in parallel.
Excellent project and stakeholder management skills—organized, detail-driven, hands-on, fast.
Comfortable working with technical content.
Fluent English (written and spoken).
Bonus points if you have:
Connections to developer communities (CNCF, DevOps).
Familiarity with OpenTelemetry and large-scale observability challenges.
Experience in high-growth startups, building programs from the ground up (0 → 1).
